About This Site
Automated bird song detection in Konstancin-Jeziorna, Poland — powered by BirdNET-Pi running on a Raspberry Pi.
How It Works
A Raspberry Pi with a USB microphone listens continuously to the garden. The BirdNET neural network — developed by Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Chemnitz University of Technology — analyses the audio and identifies bird species. Each confirmed detection is sent to this website via webhook, where it is stored and displayed in real time.
Bird Names — Data Source
